Local Cinema studios partnered with the University of South Carolina and the South Carolina Film Commission to produce the feature film, Hero.
We were honored to be asked to document this process. We got a behind the scenes look at what it takes to make a film. Here’s a synopsis of the film:
This feature-length coming-of-age dramedy, described as "Atlanta" meets "Juno," is about a misfit artist trying to find his place in a community that doesn’t understand him. Things are further complicated when his pre-med ex-girlfriend gets pregnant with his baby. If they are going to make it work, he must find a more permanent footing in the world.
